Interdisciplinary Synergies for a Sustainable Future in the Age of AI and Digital Transformation
The Mid-West International Multidisciplinary Conference (MIMC–2026), organized by Mid-West University (MU), Surkhet, Nepal, in partnership with esteemed national and international academic and research collaborators, will be held from April 24 to 26, 2026, at Mid-West University’s Main Campus in Surkhet. Focusing on the theme “Interdisciplinary Synergies for Sustainable Futures in the Age of AI and Global Transformation,” the conference seeks to provide a dynamic global platform for interdisciplinary dialogue, research collaboration, and knowledge sharing. It will explore how artificial intelligence, digital transformation, and sustainability are transforming education, governance, technology, and society.
Covering six major thematic tracks—across social sciences, education, law, management, science, engineering, and agriculture—the conference encourages integrated, evidence-based solutions to regional and global challenges. Expected outcomes include the publication of conference proceedings with ISBN/DOI, special issues in peer-reviewed journals, and the establishment of the Mid-West Interdisciplinary Research Network (MIRN). By uniting scholars, policymakers, and innovators worldwide, MIMC–2026 aims to elevate Mid-West University’s reputation as a center of multidisciplinary research excellence and a driver of sustainable development in Nepal and beyond.
